Thank you again for taking the time to chat with me, I’m still smiling thinking about how you and Joseph have grown up together from high school to now, and how special it will be to finally have everyone in one place to celebrate this next chapter!
After our call, I’m even more excited about the vision you described: an extended weekend in the Charlottesville area where guests can truly settle in and connect. from a joyful Mendhi with Indian street-food–inspired bites, into a warm welcome dinner/sangeet, followed by a Saturday that thoughtfully blends your Indian ceremony (with meaningful touches from both your North and South Indian traditions) and your American ceremony/reception, all wrapped in a spring garden party aesthetic with pastel tones, lush florals, and that effortless tented outdoor vibe you love. I also love your idea of giving guests something fun to do during downtime, lawn games like cornhole are such a perfect, relaxed way to keep the weekend feeling easy and communal!
Knowing your residency schedule and the goal to have key decisions locked in by mid-March, I built this proposal to be especially supportive and strategic, streamlining venue selection, vendor coordination, catering logistics (including navigating Indian food flexibility), and the full multi-day timeline so your family feels guided through U.S. wedding logistics without losing any of the cultural meaning that matters to you.
